Flight planning for a trip through Canada with the first stop at CEX3 a little south of Edmonton to see the museum there. Then heading east. Would appreciate any input regarding other places of interest to check out while in that area. Thanks, Larry

Drop down south a wee bit and go to the museum in Drumheller. Lots of our relatives there.

Where to go?

It would be helpful in broad terms where you are planning to see (i.e. Loop up the eastern slopes or strait west to the coast, etc) then you will likely see a landslide of advice.

One of the two most awe inspiring flights I have flown was following the Trans-Canada Highway from Calgary through the passes to Vancouver.

Middle of July at 8500 ft and still way above the snow/glacier line.

A stop at Salmon Arm for fuel and ended up at Chilliwack in E. Vancouver for some of the best pies I've tasted.

If all works out, the plan is from CEZ3 to Quebec City with stops along the way then Maine. Larry
