my name is bryan . I am considering a rv-4 or rv-8. I see 2 aircraft listed for sale that are rv-4 w/ 230hp. One was built by John Harmon. what are the thoughts on this... is it safe? heard of any structural problems? why would I not want the extra HP? I guess the Harmon Rockets have some changes in the wing structure and I'm not sure if these were done on the 4's listed? I reallize that some people feel that messing with the original design is blasphemy but I, as a rule, never hate more horsepower.
