I agree, but it may not be possible on the Elastomeric set up.Keep in mind that the hose segments shouldn’t be long sections with no tube inside.
If you do that, everything will be very flexible and the hose will stretch and allow the system to sag.
The hose should only be used to couple together the support tubes with no more than about a half inch gap between the two ends of the tubes to allow just a little bit of flexibility.
