D dreed Well Known Member May 4, 2019 #51 Wow! Thank you so much for the great and very detailed replies! My wayback machines were 2 stroke kart racing engines, so no valves to deal with but the squish/swirl and clearances all make sense. Thanks again- that really does help quite a bit.
