I have the AERA 510. At this point, I'd have say the IPAD/ForeFlight/External GPS is the way to go. Consider it when you make your decision.

Interesting, although i went to the ForeFlight page to check it out, and all the links except the pain page are broken (404 error).
Do you know how much their software costs? iPAD itself is about 750cdn.

Phil,
I paid about $80 for a one year subscription. It too like the IFly700 likely becomes useless after expiration. I am not familiar with the ForeFlight web site. I did all my downloading from the IPAD.

P.S. - Just checked their website. It appears to be down right now.
