Might as well be that guy.
As a converted 8A builder/pilot who rebuilt a Skywagon, I’ve been lurking around the 15 since it came out. Tempted to build again, but the 15 will not replace the Wagon. Not that it was ment to in the first place. BUT, the RV 16 could be. So to anybody who’s somebody at Vans with a 8”X11” piece of scratch paper with RV-16 ideas scribbled down, please, add these too.
-Makes it fly like a Vans (obviously)
-Incorporate your 15 Technology
-Make it pack more than it weighs
-Make it carry 90 gallons of fuel, with optional 120
-Make it designed for 0-540’s to angle valve 540’s
-Make it faster than a Skywagon
-Make it slower than a Modded Skywagon (or as slow)
-Make it easy to build (gamechanger)
-Make the baggage door 206 size and removable (easier to load stuff)
-Make it wider
-Make the back passengers have heat and vents (they really complain back there)
-if you can make the ailerons droop a little with full flap deflection, without adding much weight, that’d be cool (gonna take some heat for that one)
-Make a spot for ice (yes, frozen water) to go in line with wing vents (poor man’s AC)
I love my Wagon, but it could be better
