Charging amps
With an external regulator as the BC, the charging amps is a function of
the difference between bus voltage and the set charging voltage.
The bus is connected to terminal 3 sense on the BC regulator.
With a rheostat on terminal 4 you can reduce field voltage to the alternator.
This way the charging current can be limited to your specification.
A timing circuit can be added if desired.
