RV6A with io360 (supposed 180hp) sam james cowl, fixed pitch prop, wheel pants and farings, 2 steps and loaded with avionics (guess I need to weigh it or just check weight and balance):
8000 ft (temp was either 11 or 15C - i just don't remenber)2700rpm full throttle (should be close to 75% power)
TAS on my Garmin 430 said 175kts (or 201 mph).
Beats the heck out of a thirsty twin cessna 310 I use to carry other people around.
TO save in this terrible economy, Guess I need to get rid of all my friends except 1 for the RV.
