Having had a few BCCs removed, I'm not sure I would agree that they 'are relatively trivial' (one involved a skin graft), and I don't think Christie would either.Looks uncomfortable. Most plexiglass won't pass UV-B, and probably UV-A rays as well. The likelihood of basal cell or even squamous cell skin cancer (which are relatively trivial), let alone melanoma, is likely to be quite low.
