Two weeks until the South Eastern Regional Fly-In at Evergreen.

Heads-up on a major change this year: there will NOT be an FAA-operated temporary control tower. We expect to have someone announcing the active runway on CTAF 122.70, but nothing more. Please use the published arrival proceedure, then fly a sensible pattern with your eyes outside the cockpit. Expect a ground control frequency change (121.65) when you reach the ramp.

Arrival proceedures at:

Check NOTAMs at:

See you there!

Dan,

With 100LL well below $3 in some parts of TX, I hope we can get some cheap gas at SERFI(maybe if only for the day). Yesterday I couldn't find anything around the gulfcoast for less than $4.30, though I don't know the current price of GZH. See you there.

Hurrah! For once we have a really GOOD weather forecast for the Southeastern Regional Fly-In!

Checked fuel price at Evergreen, since everyone asks these days: $3.99 for 100LL. Mogas is no longer available.

Airnav is showing $2.76 for 100LL at Elba AL (14J), about 50 miles due east of Evergreen. Might want to call first.
