Can someone please help/confirm my Sam James cowl selection (I also hit up Jimmy and awaiting a reply)?
I am planning to place my order for an IO-390-EXP119 for the front of my "SLOW" build Rv-7 TU this week if able. Given the wait/lead times...
I've always wanted a Sam James Cowl (despite now owning and having the standard Van's in shop due to the "no delete" policy).
I believe I need the "RV-6/7/9 Forward Facing Long Cowl" to accommodate the Forward Facing Fuel Injection servo - Cold Air Induction/Sump on the EXP119. I believe I can use their RV-14 Plenum to account for the baffles/front governor but want to be sure it will still work with the FF Long Cowl as well.
Also believe that any Hartzell Prop will require the M or 675 hubs.
I think this is right...but want to be extra sure.
I've been poking all around...just want to leverage the "hive mind" here for any missed "gotchas."
