Flightcom 403LSA intercom and Garmin SL40...

Has anyone had experience with the 403LSA two place intercom from FlightCom? Would you recommend it? Would you recommend something else. I'm considering the PM3000 also, but it is substantially more money.

My COM is a Garmin SL40.

Yes I went with this unit. I'm not to the point of having it installed yet though.
