Looked through the archives but did not see much with this question. I am about to order a new Zulu 2 headset and trade in a pair of older Lightspeed XL model, but see that they offer both a straight chord and a coiled chord.

I have always had the straight chord but have looped them into loose knots to take up some slack....

Any of you out there that have either used both or purchased the coiled chord have any opinion favoring that over the straight chord
Thanks

I have never used

the coiled-cord Lightspeed --- but with my straight cord, you can always hang the cord somewhere out of the way without it pulling at you ---- my experience with coiled cords is that there is always some tension on them.

Just a thought

I've got a coiled cord on a different headset and when it gets twisted, it's hard to figure out which way to untwist it.

Plus the small tension as mentioned, and the diameter of the coil might be an issue.
