I'm at the point where I'm thinking about wire runs, electronics, etc. I'm probably going to use the Zaon XRX because I like that it also gives a general direction of traffic in addition to altitude and distance. But I don't really want to put it on the front glare shield. The instructions say to keep the antenna away from metal objects and magnets so they don't interfere with the signal. So here comes the dumb question: Would I--specifically my head and shoulders--interfere with the signal in the same way? I have a small panel mounted to the back of my seat and am thinking about putting it there, maybe on a bracket so it's up a little higher and connect it to my EFIS.
