In all seriousness, there is a similar tool that is very handy. The Rotobroach. The make very nice holes in sheet metal, especially if you need to make a hole in the firewall.

You can buy kits with various sizes.

Need vs Want also has a time factor in the equation. I bought a Hougen RotaCut set of annular cutters 20+ years ago for a project I can't remember. They were expensive at the time. When the project was completed, I remember thinking they were great, but a waste of money for that limited project use. I've used them many times since over the couple of decades and each time I've been really pleased to have them, retrospectively seeing them as a really smart purchase. At this point in my life, I'm much more likely to buy tools from Harbor Freight than Snap-On.

I remember the day my son came home from school after his teacher explained "need" vs "want". He explained it then said "I need a pair of <whatever name brand> shoes." I said no. You "need" a pair of shoes. You "want" a pair of whatever. Guess what he got?

By the way, I build a lot of log furniture. One tool is a 2" Tenon Cutter. It's basically a big pencil sharpener. I have a huge 1/2" drill to drive it. The log gets secured in a saw horse type jig. When it goes, it throws shavings everywhere. Almost broke my arm once when it hit a knot.
 
Dave's hole saw is clearly an aircraft tool used for cutting through the airport pavement to install an aircraft tie down.

Now this is a real truism. I have gobs of tools and plenty of guns also. Oh ya I also have a number of those concrete coring bits also. Never sell anything. I almost pity the people who have to clean up after me when I'm gone. Gonna be a big garage sale for sure.

I have a set of 22" Channel Locks. They are really useful to remove the oil filter installed by the Lycoming Gorilla. I tri3d three other oil filter wrenches before going in for the Big Kahuna
 
I actually have one of those Milwaukee brand ( made in the USA) with core bits up to 12” . Drill base will accommodate up to a 14” bit but never had a need for one quite that big.
Since we’re talking about big tools I’ve also got a 48” Ridge brand 8” jaw pipe wrench also made in the USA of cast steel , takes 2 men and a boy to tote it from the truck to the job, but I’ve been using it for 45 years and haven’t broken it yet and I’ve put a longer pipe on the handle then I probably should have many times. Really shameful we’re not making tools like these anymore.

No use for such as these on our little airplanes, but they did indeed finance my little airplanes!!!

Oh boy. Ya, I have my stuff plus my Dad's stuff from OH-10, lots of electronic parts, old tools, crap-ton of machining parts. I should make an e-bay link and sell his stuff, else my Wife will need a few dumpsters to fill when I "buy the farm"
 
My wife's father was a machinist, he passed away a year before we met. Second date I took her out to the hangar and she looked sick. She had given away all his tools 6 months before.


He was also a veteran of the 442nd Regiment. I really wish I had met him.
