Looks like my roll servo has failed, very stiff to turn the bell crank and feels very notchy and the control head (Vizion 385) flashed processor and sensor error messages and did not control bank. Pitch channel tests fine hence suspecting the servo. Looking for a replacement DSB-B roll servo. tried a DSB-C but that did not appear to work as a drop in replacement.
