I purchased an RV9A kit that was about 85% complete.
Problem was...it was in Lawrenceville, GA..and that's about
550 miles from Prairieville, LA.
So after much study, help from the forum folks we made the move
this weekend. It all worked out great.
This is the pic of us loaded and tarped ready to pull out for home.
My wife was driving the cargo van with everything else in it.
This is the box I built for the main gear to ride in, wheels were
held on three sides.
A pic showing nose and main chock/hold down system. I wanted the
weight riding on the three gear legs with only anti sway straps to
the fuselage
Last, a very tired me in the driveway at home. We covered 1119 miles
in 18:07 hours of driving.
Now to sort, and organize.
