Hi,

I'm about to fit a wooden prop in place of a sensenich metal. I'm having to use a heavy & thick front spinner plate to keep the cg forward. How many threads should the prop bolts engage on the hub/spacer?

This won't answer your question directly but the rule of thumb as I know it is length of thread engagement needs to be at least as long as the diameter of the bolt. A 7/16 bolt would need to be screwed in at least 7/16 deep in order to gain max strength. All that means is the bolt will pull apart before it will strip the threads and pull loose.
