Is it ok to wire left and right channels to the mono audio jack or should I just use the left???? I can't find a clear explanation anywhere...

Thanks!!
Greg

You're asking about the wires going to the headphone jacks? Do not connect left and right together. If your unit has "MOD 4" accomplished then you must use the left channel wire to the pilot to maintain the fail-safe operation.

Thanks Bob

I do not have the mod 4, only 2 and 9, not sure what that will mean??
But, yes, I am wiring to the audio on the pilot and co-pilot positions and have the grounds hooked and only have one other audio wire each to connect to the rear of the 340 so that just needs to go to the left position and leave the right empty...

All com on the SL30 will come in mono on the left channel then??

Trying to be sure!

Thanks again!

If you do not have mod 4 then you can use either left or right, but don't tie them together. Don't forget the fiber washers under the jacks.

Got it....

I had installed the fiber washers and checked them to make sure they were not shorted to the panels!

Thanks again!
