Hi everyone,
This has got me stumped.
I have an AFS 3500 with ARINC 429, Garmin 695, Garmin SL30 and a Digiflight II.
I am trying to figure out how to wire up the system so that I can fly a flight plan programmed in the 695, or fly a heading/maintain a radial from the SL30, selected on the 3500.
My current plan is the following:
Wire the SL30 serial into serial port 3 on the AFS.
Wire the blue serial output on the 695 to Serial port 1 on the AFS.
Wire the ARINC 429 pins 9, 10 and 22, to the serial port 4 on the AFS
Add GPS blue serial input to pin 17 gps serial input on the Digiflight II.
Wire ARINC out A/B (obs/ap) pins 13 and 25, to pins 14 and 15 on the Digiflight II.
Will wiring the system this way work?
This is all super confusing to me, as I still do not understand well enough how the individual devices use the signals between them.
Any help would be greatly appreciated.
