Tie the orange and black wires (power & ground) to those wires in the 250 (inline splices or at the same place those hook up. Then the other two wires (serial TX & RX) get an open serial port on all SV screens.
 
I guess I never considered the GPS 250, or the 2020 to be a high failure item. I'm not sure that retaining the old unit would be worth the trouble. But maybe I am missing something here. I generally support the "keep it light" logic.

Generally the ADAHRS isn't a hghi failure item, but they can fail. So can the GPS. If someone already has the GPS-250 installed and wants to add the GPS-2020 for compliance, then it basically doesn't cost anything to have redundancy (especially because the used GPS-250 is selling for $55 shipped). Yes, there is added weight, but it is not that much weight for the peace of mind.
