For those of us that fly in less than t-shirt weather for many months, here is a interesting pic what can occur if you do not get the moisture from your system/or what occurs when condensation builds after shutdown. Thought it was interesting as i don't often see this as most planes come into the shop after being run. This one was towed in from another hanger.
ps. the oil took 2 minutes to make a drip fall from the dipstick.

Gary, do you think this is any argument for semi-synthetic oil?
Mine will pretty much always drip (where I don't want it!) although I typically wait until it's above freezing to fly.
 
No going to open the oil can of worms !
It was chilly and had no preheat as it was not going to run. Temp was -21C (-6F) brrrr
