any comments on cutting the wiring access hole in the wingtip? is it easier to cut before or after installing the skin on the wing?

I did mine on the bench. Marked it out, then attacked with my trusty Dremel. Thin cutoff wheel and flex shaft worked beautifully. It's not really very difficult. I recall about an hour of psyching myself up, followed by about 10 minutes of actual work. Rough out the hole, then finish to the line with a sanding drum or similar. Have fun, good luck.

One suggestion, though: If I were to do it again, I'd move the hole for the chassis ground just a wee bit closer to the edge of the wing so the screw head can't contact the fiberglass fairing.
