Deemer super tips????

Years ago a guy in Madras, OR was making dramatically turned downward tips for Cessnas, Pipers, etc. The were called Deemer super tips. I put a set on my old C-140 and they dramatically lowered the in-flight deck angle and the plane picked up at least 7mph in cruise and much improved take-off.

Anyone tried something like that on an RV???
 
There was one at the Homecoming this year.

Doug had a photo of it in his coverage of the event,

Unfortunately, I dont know who it belonged to, seems to me, IIRC, that in Dougs writeup, he didnt know the owner either.

But, I will bet that someone reading this forum does-----------------
