Do most people apply the wing walk material before or after painting?

All that I have seen, and on my own, it was after.

Since I had about 6 months between first flight and the reservation at a paint shop, I applied a couple of strips of non-skid from Home Depot's Aviation Department to the bare skin, then the painter removed that during paint prep, and put on permanent non-skid after painting. I just didn't like walking on the bare aluminum.

I think that's what I want to do too. I'll visit Home Depot's avaition department this weekend.

BTW, it was really nice to see you and Louise in Reno for the few minutes we spoke. It's sort of neat to know people on these forums and then finally meet them and learn they're as nice as you and Louise. Thanks for all you do to support this great hobby. RVs rock!!!!!!!!

Very good quality. Not gritty. Won't tear up your jeans or wash cloth. And cheap too.
