Does anyone have the wing dimensions or plans needed for building the Cradles for the QB Wing on RV10? My QB wings and Fuselage are coming mid January or so.

Ivan, welcome aboard.

Take a look at this thread.

The dimensions are not critical, as the hose/fabric/carpet conforms to the wing shape.

A suggestion for the fuse, keep it low to the ground, easier on your back, dont put it up on the gear until you need to.

"Show Planes", up in Oregon built a really nice fuse cradle, I would make something like it, if I were just starting out. Click on the "current projects" tab.

Good luck.

I built some very simple wing cradles from the crate plywood my that my QB wings were shipped in. I cut 4 leading edge shaped pieces and connected them with some 2x2s. I lined the inside with pipe insulation. It worked for me and took very little time/thought/effort/materials. (Sorry I didn't have very good pictures of it.)

After many iterations, this simple fuse stand works well. Harbor Freight castoring pneumatic wheels. http://wcurtis.nerv10.com/fusestand/index.html

Seen here is in the lower height position. The upper height position puts it at the same height as the normal gear but with a much narrower wheel base since I have to get it through a 72" workshop opening. The wheel base with the gear installed is around 100 inches.
