Need to find a place to get my windshield remolded.

Long story short. I was building an RV-9A and am now building a ARV Griffin.

My dad passed away last year and I got the project from him. When I went to get it, the windshield had a large piece (14" x 8") broke off the corner. I have the parts and need to get the windshild re made. The company that made the kit is out of business. There is several other Griffin builders that will need windshields also, so this will not be a one off. I live in AZ and am at the stage where I need to fit the windshield.

Yup, Todd's is probably your best bet for a one-off. Send him your old one, and he'll get as close as can be done with free-blowing.

If you must have an exact match, you'd need to have a male plug made from your old windshield, and then have a copy stretch-formed from it. The last time I did that, it was a couple thou for the plug, and several hundred each for the transparencies.
