Has anyone used vinal ester resin to install windows and windshield. I know that this resin atacks plexiglass if you do not cover it first. We used it on the windows and windshield on a Glasair with no problems. I personally don't like the apoxy that is called for. Too much trouble to work with. So, if anyone out there has used vinal ester resin with good results let me know. Also, can you install the windows and windshield before you put the aircraft on the gear. My concern is the flex of the airframe after you get it on the gear with the glass already installed. Let me know if this has made a difference to your project. I am 65%-70% done with a 10.
