143WM now has the wind arrow is back! After double-checking all the settings in the D180 and the GPS, I pulled the ELT to check the blue wire. In the process the black wire from the ELT that connects to a white ground and a black wire from the buzzer came out of its crimp connector. My guess is that when I took the ELT out for the ACI check, I loosened it but it didn't come all the way out. Why the ground wire from the ELT causes the wind arrow to
disappear defies me for explanation, but it's back again.
