What is the best route? Click to expand... Typically GPS direct. If unable, north through Newhall Pass, Willow Springs Race Track, then Tehachapi. (KWHP VPNEW VP654 KTSP) The pass east of Tehachapi has lots of windmills and one can fly around the mountain peak south of Mountain Valley.
