I'm installing my AFS Sport AOA. I can't imagine that it matters which wing to put the sensors in. I can't see anything in the instructions. Is there any reason the sensors should be in the same wing as the pitot tube?

Thanks,
Michael-

The only instruction I could find for my Dynon Pitot/aoa was to get it outboard far enough so the propwash would not give it false readings.

Minor point, but if you are worried about your AOA flying in the pattern, the sensor should probably be on the slower, inside wing while turning. The wing most likely to stall first.

Since most traffic patterns are left hand, perhaps the left wing would be the best choice if all else is equal?

Had not thought about that, but with no guidance, I DID put it in the left wing! (I did it because the RV12 wing has an access plate for the stall warning switch out there)
