I purchased and RV-6a kit that was mostly factor assembled a while back and am now just starting to work on it. I am looking for a motor (O-360) and this kit came with a dynafocal mount. How can I tell if it is a I or II? And which O-360 models will fit? I have a line on a O-360-A1D... Thanks!

Found the answer

Looks like I have a type I mount so will work on most O-360 motors. Guess there are a couple exceptions. Thanks!

fuel injection

be careful if you decide on a different engine, such as one with a horizontal sump.
Vans made at least two different 6A mounts and the older ones won't accept some engines.
