The instructions call for making a paste out of "structural epoxy" and flox. The paste should be the consistency of caking frosting. There are many kinds of epoxy. Which did you use?

West

I used good old West System. I didn't have any flox on hand so I used a medium dry mix of microballoons. Those ribs are also riveted in place so I figured micro is good enough.
It's OK to use West on the polyester parts like wing tips.

west systems

a most popular pick is west systems epoxy... you can pick it up locally at any west marine. they have a nice free booklet on use along with a handful of tutorial pdfs online.

I originally did mine with some pink poly junk from ACS before I knew anything about epoxy. If I had it to do over, I'd use the west system. As noted, its also riveted, so the flox is just extra measure. As a side note, I also west/floxed over all of the rivets on my wingtip nutplates for extra strength - those nutplates are awfully close to the edge of the tip.
