Hi

Could someone please give me the correct measurement for the EGT sender unit on the 320. I have a 0-320 D1A with a vetterman exhaust.

The original exhaust broke at the flange on its relocation flight from VA to CA before shipping to South Africa. A new Vetterman exhaust was fitted but the EGT sender unit hole was not drilled. I dont have the old exhaust to measure up.

Thanks in advance.

It's a Relative Measurment!

Distance from the flange is not super critical. What is critical is that they are all the same distance.
The closer the probes are to the flange, the quicker they will react. The farther away, the longer they will last.
Somewhere between 2" and 4" is a good range.
Also be careful that they don't interfere with spark plug removal.

Thanks Mel

My 6 only has one EGT installed at the moment. I will do the neccessary tomorrow.
