The bottom of the fuselage skin attaches to the wing. At the very aft edge, there is a little tab of skin, shown here. This is the underside of the left wing, looking forward. The tab is just to the right of the flap bracket:

As you can see, it is currently under the flap, but it bends every time the flap moves. This can't be correct? I don't think it can fit above the flap either, as it would be a very sharp turn upwards.

What am I missing?

I've looked at the plans and at other sites and I think maybe this part is basically a cover over the nose of the flap area under the wing. It is really designed to bend up and down every time the flap moves?

Thanks Steve. Your reply really helps. It's hard to figure this stuff out from the plans. Mine are a little bent up but they'll be ok. I'm going to put some tape one them to reduce friction.
