I purchased a Safe-Air static port and static line system for my 8A and was about to install it when I realized that I cannot find the location in the plans. Am I missing something, or is the location given in Van's seperate static line kit?

Also, I have been following Brantel's difficulties with his Safe-Air ports and am wondering if I should install the stock ports now and then look for an error (supposedly 90% have no problems) or should I make his modification now, before installing the new Safe-Air ports?

Any suggestions?

I had a long conversation about this with Tony at SafeAir. In the end, I installed the originals as directed, and will see what happens. BTW, I used ProSeal to mount them to the skin...per Tony's suggestion.
