I received my 25' of wing conduit from Van's. Currently my wings are framed up and the ribs and spars are riveted together. No skin work yet.

If I install the conduit now, will it get in the way for riveting the skins? Should I wait until maybe the top skin is riveted and then install it before the bottom skins? Or does it not matter??

I installed the conduit where you are in the build and had no problems. There are a couple of skin rivets where you'll have to push aside the conduit but it wasn't an issue as it's plenty flexable. It does help having a thin tungsten bucking bar, though. Just install it anytime before the skins are final riveted.

Bob is correct. You definitely want your holes drilled before you skin the wings. I kept my conduits a little high (relative to the chord line) and installed them after the top skins were riveted. They weren't in the way for riveting the bottom skins and I was able to complete equipment installations before closing the wing.
