is it supposed to be really hard like jb weld? Or rubbery and semi-flexible? I can push my fingernail into this stuff and it will dent, but returns to its original shape with no cutting... Did I do it right?

It's pretty rubbery at first, but after weeks of curing, it does harden up slightly more. However, it is never completely hard like epoxy or JB weld. Sounds like you did it right.

It's suppose to be fairly soft and flexible so that it won't crack when it's flexed.
