Hi Bob, After much thought I finally decided to install it on the port side of the electric flap motor cover. I know it's visible there, but only if you lean over to look behind the pilot's seat. The reason I put it there is that it added almost no weight and it provided a ready made place to run wires. I haven't flown the airplane yet so can't say if I will like it there.

I also mounted mine on the flap cover in the baggage compt. (right side). Flying for over 100 hrs and doing OK.
