The Aft section of the wheel pants on my RV-14 do not have a bulkhead like those on the RV-10. I was flying off of grass for a bit and recently removed my wheel pants for a condition inspection and found them to be full of grass. So some questions:

Is there anyone who has received wheel pants from Van?s for their -14 that have bulkheads in the aft section?

Do other RV models have bulkheads?

I have been thinking about installing bulkheads thinking it might reduce the accumulation of foreign material.

Hi Jeff:

My nose wheel pant had an interior bulkhead but the mains did not. I fabricated and installed bulkheads in both mains for just the reason you found.

The ones that came with my -7 (ca 2016) have the bulkhead...

Jeff,
I?m still building but I did install rear bulkheads in the main gear wheel pants. My RV-8 had them pre-installed as I recall.
