Hi Everyone....
We just wanted to update everyone on some of the things we are doing at Aircraft Specialty, and how it enhances the shopping experience for our customers.
1. First off, we are excited to offer a new "extended" warranty for any Lightspeed headsets that are purchased through us. Lightspeed already has one of the best warranties in the industry, but we are going to make it even better. If you need ANY warranty work in the first 5 years of ownership, Aircraft Specialty will send you a prepaid shipping label to send your headset to Lightspeed. We want to make sure that you don't incur ANY costs at all if you ever need any warranty work, so we will make sure that your shipping is covered.
If you are going to buy a headset anyways, the pricing will be the same at every dealer. We would like to earn your business by offering this premium warranty service.
2. We have also added "Lifetime" warranties to a variety of our other products. Take a look at our website to see what is covered. But, I think you will be pleasantly surprised. We are offering a warranty on types of products that most manufacturers would never do. We want you to have piece of mind that if you purchase from us, we will stand behind our products.
3. We currently have a variety of items in prototype stages. The next item that is going to be coming out is a new door lock assembly for the RV-12 that we may be adapting to other RV models. We have obtained a 3d printer and are able to rapidly prototype items now, which should hopefully shorten the time it takes us to bring products to our customers. But, as always, we want to make sure that our products are perfect and tested before we release them.
4. We have some exciting items in the works on our instrument panel cutting and labeling services. We are working on a few new things that will add a lot of value to our customers who are looking to have a professionally fabricated panel. We will update VAF and our web site as we have more information.
5. We have been engraving a fair amount of Andair locking fuel caps. The price on these caps can not be beat and they are an easy retrofit into the standard RV flanges. In addition, we always keep about 10 pair of these in stock in order to allow our customers to purchase them directly from us as well as have them engraved. We realize that shipping from Andair takes some time, so we stock them. In addition, for anyone looking to purchase 2 pair of caps that are keyed the same, we have this option available. If you have two aircraft and want to use the same keys, let us know. At the moment, this is only available to one customer based on our stock.
6. We have added a new fuel cap engraving style. We now have holders for pretty much ANY cap that you might have on your RV.
7. Finally...check our our cleco and drill bit prices. As builders ourselves, we know the importance of value as well as quick shipping and top notch customer service.
