I have good history data on my IO-540 when I balanced the injectors. 2 Years ago the #6 cylinder would run around 1275F. Now it is only 1175F, All of the EGT's were within 100F, but now this cylinder is throwing it off. CHT's are normal at 275-300F depending on power setting.

In flight mag check shows temp rise on both mags when they are turned off, one at a time of course. ;)

Last compression check was a year ago and 76/80.

Is it possible for an engine to need to have the injectors balanced again over time? I've put 200 hours on it since I did it last.

Any ideas?

Swap

Single transducer going bad?

Paul beat me to it. I would suggest looking at the instrumentation first. Swap the transducer with another cylinder and see what happens.

I hope that's all it is! I didn't even think of that. Great idea! and cheap!:D

It's too cold to pull the cowl off and experiment. When it warms up I'll dig into it.

Thanks!
