Hi.
I have just ordered an engine for my second RV, and I ended up ordering a Lyc XIO-360 fwd induction from Vans.
Since I'm installing dual P-mags, I asked them to delete the mags, plugs and harness from the order, but they told me that Lycoming doesn't allow you to do that, and that I must sell mags etc myself.
I forgot to ask them what kind of mags there are in those Lycs, so I'm wondering if anyone knows? (there was several types on the ACS-pages with different prices)
I guess I need that info so I know how much to ask for them when selling them.
Since I'm at it: does anyone of you needs a pair of brand new mags, harness and plugs?
I guess they are used for those 1-2 hrs of factory-run but that's it.
The engine will be shipped to a friend of mine in Massachusets first, probably around July, and he is an A/P, so he could take them out a ship them to you.
