It was clear and calm today, but the temp was right around zero F. There was no football on, so you could.....

Bundle up and go flying! I chose the latter.

I am crazy enough to live here, I gotta embrace it! The lakes were completely packed today! The skies were busy too! Alex was out in his -6A earlier and the pattern was full at Lake Elmo and Anoka County.

Nice pic of Bald Eagle Pete...who lives on that little island anyway? I have heard everything from Tom Cruise owns the house to a millionaire recluse. The only way in is by boat or plane. Pretty secluded. Maybe next time you are out you could buzz the house and see!! (If an employee of the FAA reads this post be aware that this was intended as a joke ).
