I am dimpling (#6) the trim reinforcement plate on the left elevator of my RV-9A. The plans call to dimple for a #6 screw. What drill size should I use to match drill these holes and can I assume that a #6 screw uses a #6 dimple die?

Get a catalog from Cleaveland Tool. They have a great pull out poster with all the rivet, screw, bolt and drill sizes that you can put on your shop wall.
Thanks for all the help guys. Steve, I printed off the charts you provided the link to as well as located the chart in the cleaveland tool catalog. They will do the job.
Thanks again!
