I live in a townhouse with a one car garage. The garage adjoins the neighbor's garage. My condo association rules have something about "general nuisance" so it's a pretty broad category to catch things like riveting :D

My question is, what % of rivets can you squeeze? I imagine you cannot do much when putting the skins on but I was curious anyway.

I plan to do a test in the next few weeks to see how loud it really gets with riveting, but I'd like to know if at least the empennage and wings can be built with a lot of squeezing :)

Just a SWAG. I know that I squeezed as many as I could get access to.

Riveting isn't that noisy when compared to using an air drill - and it uses a lot less air so the compressor isn't for ever kicking in.

Only around the edges where the yoke will reach and both sides of the rivet are exposed. I would say there are a lot you can squeeze but not many if you consider all the rivets on emp and wings.
