Does anyone know what kind of propeller this is and, more importantly, how one would go about determining approximate airworthiness?
 
That's not a prop, it's a ceiling fan. And you're supposed to install it on the ceiling, not the floor. :)
 
The hub looks a little funny (maybe an old design) but it looks all the world like a GT propeller. It'sa little'a company in'a Italy (I'm Italian so I'm can poke fun :)

Personaly, I'd turn it into a clock and advertise it on e-bay as:
"Authentic Propeller Wall Clock, Not XBox 360"
