On page 09-05 step 1 trhey have you use a step bit to drill out 2 holes. One is 3/8 and the other is a 5/8. I see that the 5/8 hole gets a bishing but I can't find in the manual where the 3/8 hole is used.
I ask bc I used a very dull step bit and it wandered and chewed up the spar. I have a new bit on order and I think I can drill it out but there is apossibility there will still be some marks that are outside the hole. If this is used for a bushing, like the 5/8 hole then I feel confident just smoothing it out ans building on. I looked in section 11, attaching the elevators to the HS but it seems after you roll the leading edge you wouldn't be able to get to that hole anymore.
