Smoke On Aviation Team had a big show this weekend with 9 airplanes flying. Great feedback and already invited back for next year.

Zipped the RV-4 down to Reno from Oregon to ski Tahoe with a couple friends. Removing the rear seat and stick made for easy stowage of skis and gear.

The expansion joints in the ramp, along with the 4” tailwheel sure made for good testing of the hollow titanium rear axle. Held up just fine!

Got my brakes fixed, flew over to the local skydiving field to get my chute repacked. Saw this lovely pair of 6's on the ramp.

Inside pictures of where the skis and boots went.......?

Left Exuma Bahamas Sunday morning, spent night in Gainesville and then flew back to N TX Monday. Been 5 years since we have flown out to Bahamas and sure enjoyed the week.

I didn't snap a pic of it all inside, but basically the skis went where the passengers right leg would have gone, and extended to the aft end of the baggage compartment (up on top of the shelf). Boots and duffel bag went in the lower baggage area (partially under the skis). The Skis were "clamped down" by the rear lap belt, and restrained from moving forward by the center section bulkhead. Rear shoulder harness did a good job of not allowing boots or bag forward.

My usual ski partner (who stayed home on this trip) is now waiting for an RV-15 :)
