From this month's EAA SportAviation:

"Van's has reworked the canopy and cowl connections to reduce those problems."

The problems referred to were the usual complaints about the piano hinge cowl attachment method which I personally consider to be one of the worst things about my RV-6. Has anyone seen any details on how they were reworked?

maybe they are adding more piano hinge hahahahaha

maybe some violin hinge or even cello hinge, i hear that works better than piano hinge.

There was no changes made...I don't know where the writer got that info.
